JOB TITLE: Security Officer
LOCATION: Carshalton
PAY RATE: £12.50 per hour
WORKING PATTERN: Mon & Thur 0800-2200 Tue & Wed 0800-1800 Friday 0800-1+00
SETTING: Education
Responsibilities:
• Patrol and monitor premises regularly to maintain a safe and secure environment
• Unlocking and Locking the premises
• Access control
• Cover security desk
• Deal with contractors Issue and manages passes
• Protect property and assets by implementing security measures and protocols
• Respond to emergencies, such as medical incidents or fire alarms, and take appropriate action
• Conduct regular inspections to ensure compliance with security policies and procedures
• Provide excellent customer service by assisting visitors and addressing their inquiries or concerns
• Collaborate with law enforcement agencies and emergency services when necessary
Qualifications:
• Proven work experience as a Security Officer or similar role
• Knowledge of security operations and procedures
• Ability to handle emergency situations calmly and efficiently
• Strong observation skills and attention to detail
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• First Aid/CPR certification is a plus
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
You must be able to provide a checkable 5-year employment and address history for vetting purposes (this can include full-time education or periods when claiming benefits).
• Enhanced DBS will be required We can apply this for a suitable candidate.
LICENCE REQUIREMENTS:
You must have a current SIA Security Guarding Licence or Door Supervisor Licence. A CCTV Operator Licence is desirable. Possession of a three day First Aid Certificate and/or Fire Marshal is desirable.
