About The RoleWe have a vacancy for a Security Officer to join our team. You will be responsible for protecting the security and safety of the identified buildings and personnel at a busy client site. You will ensure that assigned tasks are completed in a professional and timely manner and meet relevant legislations.

Your main responsibilities may also include:

Work within one of our specialist Security teams, ensuring the security and safety of customers, staff and premises in a leading retail environment.You'll play a key role in the team's delivery of security within the communal areas of a high-profile shopping centre, supporting the public and centre staff. You will have a firm focus on delivering high levels of customer service, so you should enjoy dealing with members of the public.Your main responsibilities may also include:* Conduct regular patrols of the premises to ensure the safety and security of the property and its occupants.* Provide assistance to customers and tenants as needed, including answering questions, providing directions, and resolving any issues or concerns.* Monitor and operate the control room, including CCTV cameras, alarm systems, and car park equipment.* Manage the signing in and out of visitors, ensuring proper documentation and authorization.* Conduct regular patrols of the car park to deter unauthorized activity and ensure the safety of vehicles.* Be prepared to cover the duties of the night officer during holiday periods or other absences.

• The ideal candidate will be reliable, detail-oriented, and possess strong communication skills.
