About The RoleWe have a vacancy for a Security Officer to join our team. You will be responsible for protecting the security and safety of the identified buildings and personnel at a busy client site. You will ensure that assigned tasks are completed in a professional and timely manner and meet relevant legislations.

Your main responsibilities may also include:
Work within one of our specialist Security teams, ensuring the security and safety of customers, staff and premises in a leading retail environment.You'll play a key role in the team's delivery of security within the communal areas of a high-profile shopping centre, supporting the public and centre staff. You will have a firm focus on delivering high levels of customer service, so you should enjoy dealing with members of the public.Your main responsibilities may also include: Conduct regular patrols of the premises to ensure the safety and security of the property and its occupants. Provide assistance to customers and tenants as needed, including answering questions, providing directions, and resolving any issues or concerns. Monitor and operate the control room, including CCTV cameras, alarm systems, and car park equipment. Manage the signing in and out of visitors, ensuring proper documentation and authorization. Conduct regular patrols of the car park to deter unauthorized activity and ensure the safety of vehicles. Be prepared to cover the duties of the night officer during holiday periods or other absences.

• The ideal candidate will be reliable, detail-oriented, and possess strong communication skills.
