Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing and managing company security functions, ensuring compliance with USG security policies, and supporting personnel and facility security needs

Serve as the primary point of contact for U.S. Government (USG) security representatives

Oversee, manage, and maintain all company security functions, including Closed Area requirements

Develop, implement, and manage organizational security policies and procedures for USG programs

Process and maintain Visit Authorization Requests (VARs) in a timely manner

Support Business Development in developing and updating compliant proposal security volumes and contract data requirements lists (CDRLs)

Assist employees with the initiation, maintenance, crossover, and termination of personnel security clearances

Conduct security clearance indoctrination briefings, debriefings, and employee security training

Assist personnel with preparing and submitting security processing paperwork, including SF86 reviews

Identify and report security deficiencies, potential problem areas, and violations

Ensure security activities are executed accurately, timely, and in compliance with USG and company requirements

Process subsidiary and contractor security requests, including badge renewal paperwork

Maintain personnel and secure area security files in accordance with USG requirements

Conduct audits on security folders, documents, and processes

Assist with DCSA audits

Participate in the Insider Threat Working Group to enhance awareness within the security program

Perform other duties as assigned by the FSO or Director of Security

This role is ideal for a motivated professional with experience in security operations within the Intelligence Community (IC). The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing and managing company security functions, ensuring compliance with USG security policies, and supporting personnel and facility security needs.

This position is located in the Reston, VA.

• Experience with DISS, NBIS, and NISS (JIRA experience a plus).

• Understanding of NISPOM requirements.
