Position: Security Officer
Location: Potters Resorts - Five Lakes, Colchester Road, Tolleshunt Knights, Maldon, CM+ 8HX, Essex, UK
Type: Full-time - Working 12 hour shifts on a rotational basis, 4 on / 4 off. Will include weekends and bank holidays
• To deliver the Security Team Operational Standards and Resort Customer Service Standards, ensuring that you consistently deliver high standards of service.
• Ensure that you follow all policies and procedures relating to appearance, uniform, and jewellery – ensuring that a professional image is portrayed at all times.
• Carry out regular foot patrols of the Resort, ensuring the safety and security of the premises, team and guests.
• Have a strong Resort knowledge to enable you to consistently deliver high levels of customer service. Be approachable and willing to help / support both guests and team members.
• Be fully aware of the environment which you are working in. Keep an eye out for anything suspicious or behaviour which is not in keeping with our Five Star standards. Deal professionally and effectively with any issues or problems which may arise.
• Ensure that every incident you deal with on Resort is reported to the Head of Security and Duty Manager in a timely and accurate manner.
• To remain professional and follow both SIA and Resort policies at all times when dealing with confrontation, suspicious activity and first aid incidents.
• To be fully aware that attention to detail reflects our professionalism. Therefore, ensure that you support the Resort in picking up litter, clearing empty glassware/ crockery seen laying around. Report any maintenance or health and safety concerns.
• To display high levels of attention to detail whilst monitoring CCTV and report or react to situations professionally and inline with Resort procedures.
• Ensure that only authorised guests, visitors and contractors have access to Resort. Ensure that checks both on the gate and in Resort are carried out.
Qualifications
A valid SIA licence is essential to be considered for this role.
