Position: Security Officer

Job Summary:
A top Delhi based public school is currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Security Officer to join their team and ensure the safety and security of our school premises. This position requires candidates with a military background, who have specific experience working in a school environment.
Responsibilities:
· Implement and maintain security protocols and procedures to safeguard the school premises, students, staff, and visitors.
· Conduct regular patrols, ensuring the entire school area is monitored and secure.
· Respond promptly to any security incidents or breaches and take appropriate action as per established protocols.
· Monitor CCTV cameras and other security systems to detect and deter any suspicious activities.
· Collaborate with school administration teachers, and other staff to assess security needs and devise effective strategies.
· Conduct security drills and train staff and students on emergency response procedures.
· Maintain accurate records of security incidents, daily activities, and security equipment.
· Coordinate with external law enforcement agencies and emergency services when necessary.
· Stay updated on the latest security technologies and techniques to enhance the school's security measures.
Requirements:
Ex-Servicemen: Candidates must have served in the military services or with a distinguished service record.
School Experience: Demonstrated experience working in a school or educational institution is essential.
Strong Leadership Skills: Ability to lead a security team effectively and make prompt decisions in challenging situations.
Excellent Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact professionally with students, staff, and external stakeholders.
Physical Fitness: Must be physically fit and capable of conducting regular patrols and responding to emergencies.
Problem-Solving Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to assess security risks and devise effective solutions.
Integrity and Reliability: Demonstrated commitment to maintaining confidentiality, trustworthiness, and reliability.
Relevant Certifications: Possession of valid security licenses, first aid certifications, and knowledge of relevant local regulations is desirable.
Note: This position may require working flexible hours and may involve some evening or weekend shifts.
