We are looking for a dedicated and experienced Head of Raksha Bal to oversee and manage all security operations, ensuring the safety and efficiency of our manpower services.
Job Overview:
The Head of Raksha Bal will be responsible for leading and managing the entire security division, overseeing recruitment, training, and deployment of security personnel. The ideal candidate will have significant experience in security management, with a preference for individuals who have a background in the army or police forces. This position will involve working closely with the Sudarshan News leadership team to ensure seamless security services for the channel as well as external clients.
Key Responsibilities:
Leadership & Management: Lead the Raksha Bal team, ensuring effective operations, coordination, and supervision of security personnel.
Recruitment & Training: Oversee the recruitment of skilled security personnel, with a special focus on retired army or police professionals. Develop and implement training programs to ensure personnel are well-equipped for various security duties.
Deployment & Supervision: Deploy security personnel for different assignments, including event security, on-site protection, and client-specific projects. Ensure that the personnel adhere to the highest standards of security protocols.
Client Relations: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their security needs and providing solutions that meet their requirements.
Security Protocols: Develop and enforce security policies, ensuring the safety of personnel, assets, and clients. Stay updated on security trends and best practices to enhance the efficiency of the Raksha Bal division.
Coordination with Sudarshan News: Ensure smooth coordination between Sudarshan News and Raksha Bal for any internal security requirements, including protection of employees and equipment.
Monitoring & Reporting: Regularly monitor and report on the performance of security teams. Address any issues or concerns promptly and implement corrective measures when necessary.
Qualifications:
Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience in security management, preferably in a leadership role. Preference will be given to retired army or police officers.
Leadership Skills: Proven experience in managing teams, with the ability to inspire and lead security personnel.
Security Expertise: In-depth knowledge of security procedures, risk management, and crisis response.
Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, capable of interacting with clients and teams at all levels.
Physical Fitness: Strong physical condition and ability to manage security operations in various settings.
Problem-Solving: Ability to assess security threats and implement effective solutions quickly.
Other Skills: Proficiency in security management software and tools is an advantage.
