Responsibilities
Drivers can expect to facilitate deliveries daily, as well as spend additional time in the Sterling facility in a security guard capacity
This person must possess a clean background check, attention to detail, and a willingness to assists with other duties as necessary
The person in this role will at times assist in our cultivation facility with other responsibilities in production when security and delivery responsibilities are completed or covered by other security personnel
Transport deliveries of product from our cultivation facility to our dispensaries
Transport deliveries of product from our cultivation facility to our wholesale partners
Transport deliveries of product from our kitchen facility in Leominster
When not actively driving, this person will assume the roles & responsibilities within a security guard function as stated below
Examine and verify identification of persons wishing to access the facility
Circulate among visitors and/or employees to preserve order and protect property
Ensure that all inventory and supplies are properly always monitored
Document the time of arrival and departure for all visitors including vendors and contractors
Distribute identification badges to all non-employee visitors and collect at the end of the visit
Monitor and review security cameras
Transfer security footage to thumb drive and maintain drives orderly and in a secure location
In the event of emergency, secure staff, visitors, and building; act as liaison with local police or law enforcement
Maintain daily written or electronic tracking sheets, noting all activity on premises
Escort staff members or others between vehicles and building as requested
Administrative Duties
Maintains daily records of all visitors and guests
Document any incidents, accidents, and report them to the Security Manager

About The Role (Security Officer)
The full-time security / driver will use our company vehicle to transport all product deliveries safely and efficiently to and from our cultivation facility in Sterling, MA. Drivers can expect to facilitate deliveries daily, as well as spend additional time in the Sterling facility in a security guard capacity. This person must possess a clean background check, attention to detail, and a willingness to assists with other duties as necessary. The person in this role will at times assist in our cultivation facility with other responsibilities in production when security and delivery responsibilities are completed or covered by other security personnel.

• Ability to remain calm in periods of high stress or unusual activity
• Extended time sitting, walking, bending, and reaching
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds for 100 feet
• Close visual focus required
• Must pass a background check (state mandated)
