As a Security Officer - Warehouse - Anchor Flex in Phoenix, AZ, this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking-up additional shifts when it works for you.
Pay Rate: $18.75 / Hour

How This Role Works:
Fixed-Shift Commitment (“Anchor Shifts"): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick-up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part-time hours this week and full-time the next. It's all up to you.
This role is ideal for candidates seeking part-time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build-up to a full-time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.
Responsibilities:
Provide customer service to visitors, drivers, and employees by following site-specific access control procedures, verifying credentials, checking authorized entry and exit points, and supporting security-related policies at the location.
Monitor entry and exit activity for personnel, deliveries, and commercial vehicles, document visitor and carrier information, and report unusual or unauthorized activity to site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership.
Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including contacting appropriate personnel, assisting with emergency response activities, and completing detailed security-related reports.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the building, yard, trailer areas, dock locations, and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized access and identify security-related concerns.
Assist with traffic flow and access point operations at a logistics and distribution location by directing visitors and drivers, communicating post instructions, and helping to support orderly site movement during busy shipping and receiving periods.
Minimum Requirements:
Access control and badge experience is preferred.
A guard card or license is preferred.
Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
Customer service experience is preferred.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
