Job Description
We have a Fulltime opportunity to lead our new Rotorua SOC team, who will be supporting one of our key clients. The specialist team will work within a Security Operations Centre dealing with unique challenges daily, but it’s all about people engagement - listening, observing, and helping.
Your team operate 24 hours, 7 days – so growing, leading and developing your team to ensure 100% roster coverage is a key to your success.
The duties will include:
Oversight and support of the SOC team, including
Hiring of staff
rostering
training and development
performance management
Liaising with our contract manager to ensure the services are delivered to the clients expectations
Updating processes and documentation as the service scope changes over time
Assisting the team in a hands-on capacity during peak periods with:
Receiving alerts from remote cameras, triaging the alerts and taking appropriate follow-up action
Receiving calls from forest users who are having trouble gaining access through remote gates, vetting their credentials and remotely opening the gates (if appropriate)
Proactively monitoring security cameras across the forest
Dispatching forest security patrols and/or police to incidents
Providing client reporting
Managing user credentials within the operating systems (NX Witness, Gallagher Command Centre, Milestone).
