About the Role
The Security Coordinator is a key member of the Venues NSW Security Team, responsible for leading a security team and overseeing day-to-day security operations at the Sydney Cricket Ground and Allianz Stadium.
Reporting to the Manager, Precinct and Event Security Services, you will lead the provision of control room services, patrols, inspections, and first aid response, as well as emergency and incident management.
You will provide advice and direction during daily operations and act as a chief warden when on shift on business as usual and event days.
About You
Demonstrate effective problem-solving skills and a high level of attention to detail.
Have experience in Security Operations and managing a team.
Possess relevant certifications including Certificate II and III in Security Operations, NSW Security License Class 1ACE, and First Aid Certificate.
Hold an unrestricted NSW Drivers licence and RSA certification.
Have strong report writing and communication skills.
Key Responsibilities
Lead a security team and hold them accountable on shift.
Provide control room, patrol, inspection, and first aid response services.
Manage emergencies and incidents.
Requirements
Australian citizenship or permanent residency.
Minimum 3 years experience in Security Operations and managing a team.
Relevant certifications and qualifications.
