Job Description
As a Security Supervisor, you will be responsible for supervising and leading the security team to ensure the safety and well-being of guests, employees, and visitors. Your duties will include assigning tasks, monitoring performance, and ensuring proper conduct of security personnel. Conducting briefings and training sessions will be necessary to uphold the standards set by the establishment.
You will oversee regular patrols of the premises to detect and prevent suspicious activities, as well as monitor CCTV and alarm systems for any security breaches. Responding to and managing security incidents such as theft, vandalism, or accidents will be part of your role, requiring you to prepare detailed incident reports and cooperate with local law enforcement when needed.
Enforcement of hotel security policies, health, safety, and fire regulations will be crucial. Additionally, you will be responsible for conducting risk assessments, recommending preventive measures, and assisting in internal investigations when necessary. Collaborating with other departments to maintain a secure environment and ensuring the security team is well-trained in emergency procedures are also key responsibilities.
In terms of administrative duties, you will maintain security schedules, ensure adequate coverage, manage reports, daily logs, and documentation. Reporting directly to hotel management or the security manager will be part of your regular tasks.
