Job Description
EyeQ is seeking a dedicated and experienced Security Supervisor to oversee our security operations in the Saskatoon area. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a background in security, and a comprehensive understanding of security protocols. This role requires a proactive approach to training and loss prevention, ensuring that all security measures are effectively implemented for all clients.
Responsibilities
Supervise and manage the security team, providing guidance and support to ensure optimal performance.
Ensure all company security policies and procedures are adhered to by all security personnel.
Train security staff on best practices for surveillance, emergency response, and customer service.
Prepare detailed reports on incidents, investigations, and daily activities for management review.
Coordinate with other departments to ensure compliance with safety regulations and protocols.
Respond promptly to emergencies or incidents, taking appropriate action to mitigate risks.
Skills
Minimum of 2 year in a security supervisory role
Minimum of 5 years in a security guard/loss prevention role
Strong knowledge of security and loss prevention strategies and techniques
Excellent leadership abilities with strong interpersonal skills for effective team management.
Ability to remain calm under pressure and make quick decisions in emergency situations.
Strong attention to detail with excellent observational skills.
Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
Valid Security License
Valid and up to date First Aid Certificate
