Position Overview
We are seeking a motivated Security System Installation Technician to be a part of our innovative team. In this role, you will be essential in delivering exceptional service by installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting residential alarm and automation systems. Your efforts will ensure our customers enjoy enhanced safety and security in their homes.
Your Responsibilities Include:
• Installing security alarm systems, including control panels, sensors, cameras, and other related equipment.
• Engaging in sales consultations with customers to assess their needs and propose the most suitable security solutions.
• Diagnosing and troubleshooting technical issues with customer alarm systems, identifying root causes, and implementing effective solutions.
• Conducting comprehensive testing of installed security systems to verify all components are functioning correctly and making necessary adjustments or repairs.
• Educating customers on the proper use and functionality of their security systems, ensuring they feel comfortable and confident in operating the equipment.
• Completing essential paperwork, including installation reports, service tickets, and inventory records, to maintain accurate documentation for all installations and services.
• Keeping up-to-date with advancements in security technology and industry standards in a fast-paced work environment.
To Succeed in This Role, You Should Have:
• Basic tools necessary for job duties.
• Experience in installing, troubleshooting, and maintaining security alarm systems, including various components.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills to interact professionally with customers, providing clear instructions and addressing any concerns.
• The ability to efficiently diagnose and resolve technical issues using strong problem-solving skills.
