Overview
Montcalm Collection are looking for a skilled and ambitious Loading Bay Assistant to join our team. You will play a pivotal role by providing personal and exceptional service to all guests in accordance with our brand standards.
Help to shape the Montcalm Collection’s next chapter and showcase your skills. Become a trusted ambassador for one of our hotels and take advantage of the opportunity to move between properties, achieving the service and product delivery standards for the department with a high degree of customer care and service.

Key Responsibilities
• Protecting company’s property and staff by maintaining a safe and secure environment
• Observing for signs of crime or disorder and investigate disturbances
• Acting lawfully in direct defence of life or property
• Apprehend criminals and evict violators
• Take accurate notes of unusual occurrences
• Report in detail any suspicious incidents
• Patrol randomly or regularly building and perimeter
• Monitor and control access at building entrances and gates
• Watch video cameras and operate detecting/emergency equipment
• Perform first aid or CPR if trained to do so
• Any other duties as directed by the Events Operations Manager or other member of the management team
Key Requirements And Essential Qualifications
• Proven work experience as a Security Guard or relevant position
• Trained security officer with diploma (preferable)
• Ability to operate detecting systems and emergency equipment (preferable)
• Excellent knowledge of public safety and security procedures/protocols
• Surveillance skills and detail orientation
• Integrity and professionalism
• High school degree
• High standard of personal presentation
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a confident and outgoing personality and an ability to interact with people at all levels
• Courteous and pleasant attitude towards guests and colleagues
• Ability to work as part of a team
• Good attention to detail
• Ability to work under pressure
• Positive and flexible approach to work (weekend and evening work will be required)
• Confident and outgoing personality
Eligibility
