About the Role
We’re looking for a Segment Go-To-Market (GTM) Manager to shape and execute data-driven strategies that drive acquisition, retention, and revenue growth within your assigned segment. In this senior individual contributor role, you’ll report to the Head of Segment GTM and work cross-functionally with Product, Marketing, Sales, and Operations to turn insights into measurable pipeline and commercial outcomes.
This role follows Vocus’s hybrid working model (two days per week in the office) and may involve occasional travel to customer or industry meetings. No security clearance or shift work is required.
What You’ll Do
We’re a dynamic business, which means adaptability and resilience are key. Your responsibilities may evolve as the business grows, but here’s what you’ll focus on:
1. Segment Strategy & GTM Execution
Define the commercial approach for your segment.
Translate customer, marketing, and competitive insights into actionable sales plays.
Partner with Analytics to embed predictive insights into GTM plans.
Work with Sales Operations to ensure smooth execution.
Contribute to annual segmentation design using data-driven insights.
2. Acquisition & Retention Playbooks
Develop and maintain playbooks for acquisition, retention, and upsell initiatives.
Monitor performance and adjust plays in collaboration with Analytics and Sales Ops.
3. Business Review & Reporting
Prepare segment insights for monthly and quarterly business reviews.
Highlight gaps, performance drivers, and action plans.
4. Stakeholder Management
Act as the key liaison between Segment Sales, Analytics, Marketing, Product, and Operations.
Advocate for segment priorities in planning and resource allocation.
What You’ll Bring
Experience
5–10 years in commercial strategy, revenue management, or GTM planning.
Proven experience in B2B sales and multi-segment GTM execution (telecommunications or technology preferred).
Track record of driving revenue through strategic plays or campaigns.
Experience working with analytics/data science teams to interpret insights.
Exposure to sales operations and incentive programs (highly desirable).
Strong ability to manage cross-functional stakeholders and deliver end-to-end initiatives.
