SELF EMPLOYED VAN DRIVER
Menzies Distribution are looking for Self Employed Owner Driver’s to join our team. You’ll be working on behalf of Menzies Distribution Limited and its customers on a self-employed basis, providing a first-class service with our team in Maidstone. The contract covers a 7-day operation, packing and delivering in the early hours of the morning. Please note, start time from 1:30am until finish, expected finish between 7:00am – 8:00am dependent on route
• Earn £600 - £800 per week, with further earnings potential available.
• 3.5t vehicle required (transit or similar) with business insurance.
• Contractor holder must be able to substitute themselves with a relief driver when unable to operate the route themselves.
• Job entails carrying out route preparation, loading own vehicle and delivery of product to between 20-40 customers per day (same delivery points each day), and returning to depot with any unsold product.

SELF EMPLOYED COURIER REQUIREMENTS
• The ‘Right To Work’ in the UK with no serious unspent criminal convictions
• A full UK/EU/EEA driving licence
• 3.5-tonne van (Transit or similar)
• Goods In Transit Insurance
• Public Liability Insurance
• Hire and Reward Insurance
• No previous disqualifications NI, DD or DR
• Physically fit to meet the demands of a multi-drop driving role
• Hardworking, positive and a flexible attitude to work
PLEASE NOTE
If you do not currently own or have access to a 3.5-tonne vehicle (Transit or similar) you must be in a financial position to be able to lease or purchase one. You will also need to have all insurances (Goods in Transit, Public Liability & Hire and Reward) in place prior to starting.
