The Role
• Deliver high quality legal advice and services to Directorates and Corporate Services
• Act in the best interests of those most vulnerable to understand the compounding difficulties of living with SEN
• Undertake negotiations and where necessary undertake litigation and advocacy in courts, tribunals, statutory appeals and inquiries
• Participate in project team’s to ensure achievement of the Council’s objectives
• Provide legal and procedural advice to clients to ensure operational decisions are taken in the most beneficial and effective manner
What You’ll Bring
• Qualified Solicitor, Barrister or CILEx
• Ideally have experience in SEN and relevant law
• Be motivated to protect and defend vulnerable members of the community and make a difference
