Role and Responsibilities:
As the Senior Account Manager – New Business Development at Melange Digital, you will be a pivotal driver of our agency’s expansion and client success, encompassing a spectrum of responsibilities:
1. Strategic Business Growth:
– Spearhead the identification, pursuit, and acquisition of new business opportunities through strategic pitches and proposals.
– Innovate and tailor creative pitches that showcase our capabilities and expertise, aligning seamlessly with client objectives.
2. Client Relationship Cultivation:
– Develop and nurture strong, enduring relationships with new and existing clients, becoming their trusted strategic partner.
– Collaborate with clients to grasp their unique needs, challenges, and ambitions, and translate these into results-driven digital strategies.
3. End-to-End Campaign Excellence:
– Lead cross-functional teams in crafting and executing holistic digital marketing campaigns, ensuring every aspect aligns with client vision.
– Coordinate campaign ideation, design, execution, and analysis, orchestrating a symphony of creativity and performance.
4. Data-Driven Insights and Upselling:
– Extract actionable insights from data analytics, translating them into strategic recommendations and campaign refinements.
– Capitalise on upselling opportunities within existing client accounts, nurturing organic growth and expansion.
5. Team Leadership and Collaboration:
– Guide and mentor junior account managers, fostering their professional growth and fortifying the agency’s capabilities.
– Collaborate seamlessly with internal teams to materialise visionary concepts into impactful campaigns.
Qualifications:
– Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or related discipline (Master’s preferred).
– 5+ years of experience in account management, with a strong focus on new business development and client expansion in an agency (mandatory).
– A track record of nurturing high-value client relationships and driving business growth.
– Profound comprehension of digital marketing strategies, platforms, and trends.
– Exceptional negotiation, presentation, and communication skills.
– Analytical mindset, adept at deriving actionable insights from data.
– Exemplary problem-solving skills within a fast-paced environment.
– Obsessed with client servicing and task management & meticulous planner.
– PnL Management is a definite plus (can consider for a account director position)
