Job Title: Senior Accountant
Job Summary
We are looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Senior Accountant with 3–4 years of experience to join our team. The ideal candidate should have strong knowledge of accounting processes, financial reporting, taxation, and reconciliation, along with hands-on experience in Zoho Books and Tally Prime. Experience working with a CA firm and/or a Fintech company will be preferred.
Key Responsibilities
Manage day-to-day accounting operations and bookkeeping.
Prepare and maintain accurate financial records, ledgers, and reports
Handle bank reconciliations, account reconciliations, and month-end closing
Prepare TDS and other statutory compliance reports
Assist in finalization of accounts and coordinate with auditors/consultants
Maintain accounts payable and accounts receivable processes
Generate MIS reports and financial statements for management review
Ensure timely and accurate data entry in Zoho Books and TallyPrime.
Support budgeting, expense tracking, and cash flow monitoring
Work closely with internal teams to ensure proper financial documentation and control
Required Skills & Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Commerce
3–4 years of relevant experience in accounting and finance
Hands-on working experience in Zoho Books and Tally Prime
Good knowledge of TDS, bookkeeping, reconciliations, and financial reporting
Strong understanding of accounting principles and compliance requirements
Proficiency in MS Excel
Good analytical, communication, and organizational skills
Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
Preferred Candidate Profile
Experience working with a CA firm
Experience in a Fintech company
Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
Ability to handle multiple accounting tasks efficiently
