We are seeking a trustworthy candidate who can work efficiently without sacrificing accuracy. The ideal candidate should have a firm grasp of accounting and financial practices and regulations and possess strong computer and verbal and written communication skills. The candidate should be prompt, honest, detail-oriented, professional, and analytical with good presentation skills to successfully communicate complex quantitative data to decision-makers. The candidate shall also have leadership qualities and be good at working with the team.
Responsibilities:
• Accessing the ERP and collating the relevant accounting / financial transactions-related information.
• Study and scrutinize the records of financial transactions, including reconciliation of the accounting discrepancies.
• Analysis and summarizing of the financial records and preparing the smart reports for presentation to the senior management.
• Recommend financial actions by analyzing accounting options
• Maintain accounting controls by preparing and recommending policies and procedures
• Performing gap analysis to identify the financial discrepancies by collecting and analyzing account information in line with best industry practices and accounting principles (exception reporting).
• Produce error-free accounting reports and present their results
• Support month-end and year-end close process
• Develop and document business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls
• Communicate with the senior management on the accounting data analysis and the MIS reports
• Undertakes GST/VAT Compliance for the Group Companies – based out of India as well as UAE.
• Complies with legal requirements by studying requirements, enforcing adherence to requirements, filing reports, and advising management on needed actions.
• Communicates with the team, manages the team, and contributes to the team efforts in accomplishing the task in an effective way and on a timely basis.
Education, Experience, and Licensing Requirements:
• Qualified CA with minimum 2 to 5 years of experience in accounting and MIS reporting, including the experience of working on ERP
• The combined experience of the industry as well as CA Firm
• Understanding of the Indian GST law as well as UAE VAT Regulations
• Thorough knowledge of basic accounting procedures and principles
• Basic knowledge of audit, including internal audit and exceptional reporting
• Awareness about business trends
• Leadership qualities and team management skills
• Accuracy and attention to detail, including an aptitude for numbers and quantitative skills
• Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office applications like Excel, Word, Powerpoint, and Outlook
• Outstanding communication skills (written and oral
