Job Title: Sr. Accounts Officer CTC : Rs. 6L - 7L per annum Preference will be given to candidate who have managed accounts for a real estate and construction company Location : Chembur, Mumbai Job Overview: The Sr. Accounts Officer will be responsible for overseeing the accounting and finance operations of our real estate development organization in Mumbai, India. This position will report directly to top management and work closely with the senior management team to ensure the financial success of the organization. Key Responsibilities: Manage the day-to-day accounting and finance functions of the organization's office, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, general ledgers, and financial reporting Prepare accounts for GST, IT and TDS filing for the company and its associated accounts and liaison with the CA for timely statutory filing Organize and systematically maintain financial records of the company through integrity and a timely and prudent filing practice Develop and implement accounting policies and procedures to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting and compliance with real estate regulatory statutory requirements Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with Indian Accounting Standards, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements Oversee the preparation of annual budgets and financial forecasts for the Mumbai office, and provide ongoing financial analysis and reporting to the senior management team Coordinate and liaise with external auditors, tax consultants, and regulatory agencies in India as required Manage the organization's cash flow, including forecasting and monitoring cash balances in compliance with statutory regulations, ensuring adequate liquidity to meet operational and capital investment requirements Develop and maintain effective internal controls to safeguard the organization's assets and mitigate financial risks Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance, with a CA or equivalent qualification preferred Minimum of 6-8 years experience in accounting or finance, with at least 3-4 years experience in a senior accounts executive Experience in real estate development or related industries will be preferred Strong knowledge of Indian accounting principles, financial reporting, and statutory compliance Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Proficiency in Tally, Microsoft Excel, Google Docs, Mailing & Management Softwares
