As an Analyst, you would work with various areas in Corporate Finance and have a variety of interesting tasks. Some times, you would get hands dirty with figures and numbers, whereas at other times you would have the opportunity to design new ways or suggest improvements in the way we do things. Some times you would work on your own and at other times, you would collaborate with others in the organization, remembering at all times that we work in a company that shows the world the way to do 'Better Business with Biology'.
In this role you’ll make an impact in some or all of the following areas of Corporate Finance:
Accounting and reporting including Financial statements
Fixed assets
Treasury & banking
Compliance in the Direct taxes area, specially Withholding taxes
Liaising with external parties such as Auditors, Banks & Consultants
To succeed you must hold:
Strong Finance and accounting skills evidenced by a degree in commerce and 5+ years of experience in Accounting
Sound knowledge of Finance and Accounting systems and ERP; knowledge and experience in SAP or MS Dynamics will be a plus point
Experience of putting sound accounting principles into practice
Orientation towards continuous improvement using smart tools and techniques and a keen eye for simplification and possibly automation; Good working knowledge of MS Office tools such as Excel is a must
Good English communication skills
Must exude energy and enthusiasm for challenging tasks and ambitious targets
Eagerness to learn and develop oneself
Fine balance of Assertiveness and Service mindedness
Flexibility to accommodate tasks of varying nature and deadlines
Good interpersonal skills as the role can involve collaboration with various functions
