Role Description

This is a full-time on-site Senior Accountant role located in a school at Ahmedabad. The Senior Accountant will be responsible for day-to-day tasks such as preparing financial statements, managing accounts payable and receivable, reconciling bank statements, generating financial reports, and maintaining financial records. The Senior Accountant will also be responsible for analyzing financial data, identifying trends, and providing recommendations to improve financial operations.

Qualifications
• Proficiency in Accounting, Taxation, Finance, Income Tax, and Company Law.
• Strong familiarity with MS Windows operating systems.
• Knowledge of the accounting software Tally.
• Exceptional communication skills.
• Adept at working collaboratively as part of a team.
• A positive attitude, combined with effective work management and a keen eye for accuracy.
• Excellent time management abilities.
• Expert knowledge of accounting principles, procedures, and standards
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• CA/Inter CA preferred
• Experience in the education industry is a plus
