Leasing & Brokerage Providing expert leasing and brokerage services that connect tenants with the right spaces, and landlords with qualified tenants, ensuring mutually beneficial agreements

The Senior Accountant will play a key role in the company’s finance team, responsible for financial reporting, variance analysis, month-end close, and account reconciliations
Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAP
Ensure accuracy and completeness of financial reporting, providing insights to management on financial performance
Assist in the preparation of external financial reports and disclosures, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements
Variance Analysis
Perform detailed variance analysis on financial results, identifying key drivers and trends
Provide actionable recommendations to management based on variance analysis and financial data
Work closely with department heads to understand business operations and their impact on financial performance
Lead the month-end close process, ensuring timely and accurate completion of all accounting tasks
Prepare and post journal entries, accruals, and adjustments as needed
Reconcile and analyze general ledger accounts, ensuring accuracy and completeness of financial data
Account Reconciliations
Perform and review balance sheet reconciliations, ensuring that all accounts are properly reconciled and discrepancies are resolved
Maintain and update account reconciliation schedules, ensuring timely completion and accuracy
Investigate and resolve any accounting discrepancies or irregularities
Process Improvement
Identify opportunities to streamline accounting processes and improve financial reporting efficiency
Implement best practices and leverage technology to enhance the accuracy and timeliness of financial data
Collaborate with the finance team on special projects aimed at improving financial operations and controls

Key Responsibilities

Financial Reporting
