About the Firm:
Due to significant growth, a fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Senior Accountant to join one of Australia’s leading Business Services divisions. This firm is part of an international network of advisory and accounting firms with over 15 locations throughout Australia and New Zealand.
The firm offer employees hybrid and flexible working arrangements, including the option to work from home two days per week. Flexible start and finish times are also available to accommodate family commitments.
As a Senior Accountant, you will provide outstanding specialist services to both local and international clients across various industries. You’ll be a key contributor to the firm’s fast-growing business, helping shape its future while advancing your own career. You will report to the Senior Management team, manage client assignments, support the development of junior team members, and foster long-term client relationships.

About the Role:
You will work closely with a successful leadership team to manage a diverse portfolio of clients, including some with turnovers exceeding $200m, as well as international clients and complex multi-entity groups.
Your key responsibilities will include:
Preparing financial statements and taxation returns for companies, partnerships, trusts, and individuals
Assisting with taxation issues, including GST, CGT, FBT, and Div7
Preparing and lodging Business Activity Statements (BAS) and Instalment Activity Statements (IAS)
Managing significant client interactions and responsibilities
Mentoring and training junior staff members
Skills & Experience:
3+ years of experience in Business Services
Proficiency with MYOB AE
Currently studying towards your CA/CPA qualification
A strong understanding of tax and accounting fundamentals
