Senior Accountant

BW Retail Solution – Chesterfield, MI

What You'll Be Doing

Lead the month-end and year-end close process, including preparation and review of account reconciliations and supporting schedules.

Prepare accurate monthly consolidated financial statements, including multi-currency reporting.

Analyze financial information and communicate key insights to internal stakeholders.

Supervise, assign, and review work of accounting team members when needed.

Oversee accounts payable processes, offering input on improvements and efficiencies.

Maintain accurate records and prepare financial reports using accounting software.

Assist with external financial audits and provide documentation for tax filings.

Monitor sales tax economic nexus and assist with multi-state sales tax filings.

Manage vendor payments, including check runs, ACH, and wire transfers.

Administer company credit card accounts, including usage monitoring and payment submission.

Maintain organized electronic files for accounting documentation.

Perform general ledger functions in compliance with GAAP and internal company policies.

What We'll Need from You

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting is required.

Minimum of 5 years of accounting experience, preferably in both corporate and public accounting settings.

Background in public accounting is preferred.

Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other MS Office applications.

Demonstrated ability to think critically, solve problems, and maintain a high level of accuracy.

Strong organizational skills and a collaborative, team-first attitude are essential.

Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.

Must be willing to commute daily to our Chesterfield, MI headquarters; some local travel may be required.

Full-Time (Monday – Friday)

Weekend hours may be required based on business needs

Pay Range

$75,000 – 85,000/annually
