Join our team as a Senior Accountant in Clarksville, specializing in financial statement preparation, fixed asset management, and financial report generation. Utilize your 10+ years of experience in Accounting/Finance to lead year-end audit preparations, reconcile bank statements, and manage commercial credit cards. Ensure compliance with internal processes and participate in budgeting activities.
• Prepare and analyze financial statements.
• Effectively manage the fixed asset system.
• Prepare necessary financial reports.
• Reconcile bank statements.
• Lead year-end audit preparation.
• Prepare miscellaneous tax returns.
• Manage commercial credit cards and reconciliation.
• Prepare cash flow reports as directed.
• Prepare income statement forecasts as directed.
• Document approval of all AR & AP entries.
• Assist with 401K audit preparations.
• Complete month-end closing procedures in SAP.
• Conduct monthly inventory audits.
• Develop and monitor the Annual Financial Performance Plan.
• Participate in budgeting and controlling processes.
• Ensure compliance with internal customer requirements and management review processes.
Qualifications
• BS in Accounting preferred, or in Finance or other Business-Related fields.
• 10+ years of experience in Accounting/Finance or Business Management.
• 5+ years of experience working in a manufacturing plant.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
• Knowledge of SAP (ERP) system is preferred.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate complex concepts to senior leaders and other individuals at a corporate level.
• Advanced Excel skills.
• Knowledge of GAAP & Financial reporting.
• Experience in performing internal and undergoing external audits.
• Experience in developing and tracking budget performance.
