Job Title: Senior Accountant
Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Accountant to join our dynamic finance team. The ideal candidate will be an expert in cost control, contract management, and applying accounting principles. Proficiency in financial analysis, risk management, and ensuring regulatory compliance is essential. The role demands a candidate who is adept at fostering strong stakeholder relationships and has proven expertise in using Tally for GST, IT return filings, TDS quarterly and monthly filings, and preparing and filing balance sheets. The Senior Accountant will also be responsible for developing and analyzing comprehensive financial models and supporting strategic business initiatives through robust financial analysis.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Cost Control & Contract Management:
- Oversee and manage cost control procedures to ensure adherence to budgetary constraints.
- Handle contract management, including negotiation and compliance monitoring.
2. Accounting & Financial Analysis:
- Apply accounting principles to maintain accurate financial records and prepare financial statements.
- Develop and analyze financial models, including Profit & Loss (P&L), Cash Flow, and Balance Sheets.
- Prepare and file company balance sheets, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.
- Conduct market sizing, competitive benchmarking, and provide insightful financial analysis to support strategic decisions.
3. Regulatory Compliance & Risk Management:
- Ensure adherence to regulatory requirements and manage risk through effective control measures.
- Prepare and file GST and IT returns using Tally, ensuring compliance with tax regulations.
- Handle TDS (Tax Deducted at Source) filings, including quarterly and monthly returns, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
4. Project Management:
- Oversee complex railway projects such as 25 KV OHE, PSI, and traction sub-station work.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams and manage subcontractors to ensure project completion within deadlines and budgets.
- Maintain detailed project documentation and enforce quality control standards.
5. Office Management:
- Administer budgeting and capacity planning across various services.
- Control costs and negotiate with suppliers to obtain optimal pricing, quality, and service levels.
6. Stakeholder Engagement:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders, including clients, suppliers, and team members.
- Communicate financial insights and project status updates effectively.
Qualifications:
• - Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA or CMA preferred.
• - Minimum of 4 to 5 years of experience in accounting, with a focus on cost control, contract management, and financial analysis.
• - Experience working in a construction company, with knowledge of industry-specific financial and regulatory requirements.
• - Proficient in financial software and tools, including Tally for GST, IT return filings, TDS quarterly and monthly filings, and balance sheet preparation.
• - Proven experience in developing and analyzing financial models and managing balance sheets.
• - Strong project management skills with experience in overseeing complex railway projects.
• - Excellent knowledge of regulatory compliance and risk management.
• - Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
• - Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with stakeholders.
Additional Skills:
• - Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel , TALLY & GST AND TDS PORTALS.
• - Expertise in preparing and filing company balance sheets in accordance with accounting standards.
• - Experience with budgeting, forecasting, and capacity planning.
• - Ability to manage multiple priorities and projects simultaneously.
• - Strong problem-solving skills and analytical thinking.

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹22,000.00 per month
