Senior Accountant

Job description

We are seeking a skilled Senior Accountant to join our Consulting team. In this role, you will be responsible for facilitating accurate financial reporting and analysis for our clients. The ideal candidate will possess a strong knowledge of accounting principles, exceptional analytical skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Earn between $80K to $100K, depending on experience. Hybrid work schedule available!

Responsibilities

• Conduct regular financial analysis and provide insights on financial performance to clients.

• Oversee month-end and year-end close procedures, including preparation of journal entries and the reconciliation of general ledger accounts.

• Prepare financial statements and related schedules in compliance with accounting standards.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the accuracy and completeness of financial data.

• Develop and implement financial controls and policies.

• Maintain and update financial records and ensure adherence to company policies and procedures.

• Prepare and present financial reports to management and clients.

• Identify areas for process improvement and implement necessary changes to streamline financial operations.

• Stay up to date with changes in accounting regulations and industry trends.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field..

• Proven experience as a Senior Accountant or similar role.

• Proficient in accounting software and MS Office Suite, with advanced Excel skills.

• Strong knowledge of US Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with high attention to detail.

• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
