Job Description
Financial Management: Develop and implement financial policies, procedures, and internal controls to ensure effective and efficient financial operations.
Oversee the preparation and analysis of financial statements, reports, and budgets.
Monitor and manage cash flow, financial risks, and investments.
Conduct regular financial forecasting and budgeting to support strategic planning and decision-making.
Collaborate with the finance team to ensure timely and accurate completion of financial transactions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll.
Financial Reporting and Analysis: Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for management, stakeholders, and regulatory authorities.
Perform financial analysis, variance analysis, and trend analysis to identify areas for improvement and provide actionable recommendations.
Monitor key financial metrics and KPIs to assess the financial health and performance of the organization.
Conduct periodic audits and reviews to ensure compliance with accounting principles, standards, and regulatory requirements.
Budgeting and Cost Control: Coordinate the annual budgeting process and provide guidance to department heads in developing their budgets.
Monitor and control expenses to ensure adherence to approved budgets.
Identify cost-saving opportunities and implement measures to optimize financial resources.
Analyze and report on budget variances, and recommend corrective actions when necessary.
Relationship Management: Maintain effective relationships with banks, auditors, tax authorities, and other external stakeholders.
Provide financial information and support to internal stakeholders, including senior management and department heads.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support business initiatives and ensure financial objectives are met.
Stay updated on accounting principles, regulations, and industry trends to ensure compliance and best practices.
Qualifications and Skills:
Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field. A professional accounting qualification.
Proven work experience as an Accounts Manager or in a similar financial management role.
Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial analysis, and reporting standards.
Proficient in financial software and ERP systems.
Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data and provide strategic insights.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy in financial reporting.
Advanced proficiency in MS Excel and other relevant software applications.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with internal and external stakeholders.
Strong leadership abilities with the capacity to manage and motivate a finance team.
Ability to work under pressure, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.
