Oversee assumption setting and experience investigations across reserving, capital and reinsurance
Manage and optimise the reinsurance portfolio to strengthen risk management and profitability
Partner with finance, product and risk teams to turn technical insight into strategic action
Coach and mentor analysts, lifting capability and building a team known for excellence
To be successful and grow in this role you will bring
Qualified actuary with 7+ years’ experience in life insurance or financial services
Strong background in reinsurance, experience analysis, assumptions or capital management
Advanced modelling and problem-solving skills, ideally using Prophet, R, MoSes, Python or Excel
Ability to translate complex concepts for non-technical audiences
Collaborative, driven approach with proven project leadership and mentoring experience
