Events ACT is seeking an organised and proactive Senior Administration Officer and Executive Assistant to play a pivotal role in supporting the Executive Branch Manager and the wider Branch.
This is a unique opportunity to be at the centre of one of Canberra’s most dynamic teams, contributing behind the scenes to the major events that bring our city to life.

We are looking for a capable, adaptable and motivated professional who enjoys making a real difference. You will bring:
Demonstrated experience providing high‑level executive or administrative support in a complex or fast‑moving environment.
Strong organisational, prioritisation and information management skills, with excellent attention to detail.
Highly developed written and verbal communication skills.
Confidence working with a wide range of stakeholders, including senior executives and Ministerial Offices.
Experience in recruitment coordination, HR administration or workforce systems (such as Kronos/UKG Pro) is highly desirable.

Relevant experience and/or qualifications in administration and executive support.
Relevant experience in administration in a Government environment.
Notes: A Merit Pool will be established from this selection process and will be used to fill vacancies over the next 12 months. Opportunities for flexible working options could include hybrid working, being a combination of working from home, designated office based and FlexiSpace working locations across the ACT, part-time hours, flexible start, and finish times. This position will be moving to a new workplace designed for activity-based working (ABW). Under ABW arrangements, officers will not have a designated workstation/desk.
