I'm recruiting a Senior Administrator (APS 5 level) to work for a small-medium federal government entity within heath/research.


Overview

12-month fixed-term contract
With access to sick leave and annual leave
APS 5 level: paying between $83,400 to $91,500 + 15.4% super
Working full time hours (Mon to Fri)
Based in the Sydney CBD (with flexibility to work from home 1 or 2 days per week)
This is to cover a mat-leave cover contract, to commence ASAP ideally
Employed by the federal government entity (not agency temp)


Key Tasks

Provide secretariat support to program and expert groups, including organising venues and catering, coordinating papers and agendas and taking minutes, if required
Support the administration of committees including registering members, arranging reimbursement of expenses/entitlements, coordinating and booking travel and accommodation for the committee members, scheduling of videoconferences
Undertaking procurement and contract management activities including preparing procurement plans, obtaining quotes, liaising with the successful vendor and drafting contracts for signature
Undertake basic financial administration (monitoring of the Program Budget), processing invoices and registering contracts in SAP
Assist with project management activities including monitoring and reporting on progress of projects
Manage documents, correspondence and other information, including mail merges, creating and printing labels, envelopes and posting, formatting documents, reports and plans
