Job Summary:

The Admission Counselor will facilitate the admission process for international students, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and providing exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

Admission Process:

1. Manage and coordinate the admission process for international students.

2. Review and process applications, ensuring completeness and accuracy.

3. Conduct interviews with applicants and their families.

4. Assess student eligibility and make recommendations for admission.

Regulatory Compliance:

1. Ensure compliance with local and international regulations governing student admissions.

2. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of visa requirements and procedures.

3. Collaborate with government agencies and embassies as needed.

Customer Service:

1. Provide exceptional customer service to prospective families.

2. Respond to inquiries and provide information on school programs and policies.

3. Conduct school tours and presentations.

Communication and Collaboration:

1. Communicate with faculty, staff, and students to ensure smooth transitions.

2. Collaborate with marketing team to develop recruitment strategies.

3. Participate in school events and fairs.

Data Management:

1. Maintain accurate and confidential student records.

2. Manage admissions database and track application progress.

3. Analyze admissions data to inform recruitment strategies.

Requirements:

1. Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g., education, international relations).

2. 2+ years of experience in admissions, consular services, or a related field.

3. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.

4. Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

5. Proficiency in multiple languages (desired).

6. Knowledge of local and international regulations governing student admissions.

Preferred Qualifications:

1. Experience working in an international school setting.

2. Familiarity with student information systems (SIS).

3. Certification in admissions or consular services.

Skills:

1. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

2. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

3. Organizational and time management skills.

4. Attention to detail and accuracy.

5. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Suite
