Description: Role Overview The Elastic Search Database admin works collaboratively with the Development teams to identify and optimize the interdependencies between application development and infrastructure operations to support the continuous delivery of solutions. Key Responsibilities: . Build, Manage, and Automate the database operations as a Database Administration and Engineer. . Evaluating existing Elastic clusters, configuration parameters, indexing, search and query performance tuning security, and administration . Setting up the ElasticSearch cluster . Keeping ElasticSearch clusters upgraded (as permitted by the applications reliant on them) . Optimizing indexes for use cases (e. g. logging, enterprise search) . Troubleshooting various issues with the clusters (from small errors like unassigned shards to automation issues to node/cluster failures) . Elastic Stack (Elasticsearch, Logstash, Kibana, Beats) experience . Need someone with Elastic Search management/architecture experience whose primary role would be to ensure the Elastic Search clusters continues to run under optimal conditions. . Define, develop, and maintain monitoring and reporting on the Platform. Responsible for end-to-end availability, efficiency, reliability, and security of database platforms . Identify and correct bottlenecks in the system while working with development teams on optimization and implement best practices.Essential Requirements: . 10+ Years' experience in IT. . 5+ years in Elastic Search, Logstash and Kibana administration . 1+ years of experience in Python/Ansible. . 2+yrs Shell Scripting & programming Experience . High-level troubleshooting experience and a passion for providing excellent service to all internal and external customers. . Experience building custom tools that automate day-to-day operational tasks on database platforms . Interest in quickly learning new technologies. Desirable Requirements: . Experience in the release and management of Hadoop, Mongo DB, Postgres DB, NoSQL, Big Data Technologies . Good knowledge in Container services, UNIX system administration Work Location (Location & Site) - Bangalore/Hyderabad . Work Shift's timing - 24/7
