Senior Advisor, Integrity
Salary: $113,022 - $136,747 (Plus superannuation)

The Role
You are confident engaging with stakeholders on contemporary integrity issues, providing thoughtful analysis of complex and sensitive matters. Your understanding of the integrity obligations of Victorian Public Sector Employees and the applicable requirements of the Child Safe Framework will inform the initiatives you develop to strengthen integrity culture in DJSIR.
Reporting to the Manager, Integrity Policy and Engagement, the Senior Advisor, Integrity is responsible for providing specialist advice on the application of the department's Integrity Framework, Foreign Interference obligations and the Child Safe Standards in line with departmental expectations, values and behaviours.
Main accountabilities:
The role will undertake a range of activities that strengthen integrity, fraud and corruption controls to effectively administer DJSIR's Integrity Framework and Child Safety policy, with accountability for:
oversight and review of the policy suite, ensuring key policy objectives are incorporated into the Integrity Services Unit's communications and training strategies
providing timely, accurate and authoritative advice on integrity and child safety matters to department stakeholders
supporting DJSIR employees to understand and comply with the department's integrity and child safety guidance, policies and procedures.
partnering with external and inter-departmental integrity focused agencies to meet reporting requirements.

Is a specialist in an area of their profession and relied on for advice in this field
Makes decisions in situations where there is some, but not definitive, precedent about the application of an organisational framework
Provides high level expertise dealing with more complex issues in a specialised corporate support function
Initiates and maintains relationships with peer and senior internal and external stakeholders
Develops briefs on highly complex issues that provide options for discussion and consideration and will contribute to the development of a set of final options for decision
Innovative thinking and analysis influences developments within area of responsibility
The Team
The position of Senior Advisor, Integrity works in Integrity Services Unit which sits within the Corporate Services Group.
The Corporate Services Group consists of specialist functions including finance, investment and procurement, performance and governance, legal and legislation, people and culture, information technology and workplace services and emergency management. These functions enable the department to operate efficiently and effectively and support the Secretary and Ministers to meet legislative obligations and responsibilities whilst actively supporting the department's portfolio groups and Ministers to create the conditions for growing Victoria's prosperity, building the productive capacity of our economy, and increasing participation.
