Senior AI Engineer

Our partner is a small but ambitious AI consulting startup in Melbourne, helping businesses optimise their systems with cutting-edge AI solutions.



We’re looking for an AI Engineer with a solution architecture background to join the team and work closely with clients to implement and refine AI-driven systems.



What You’ll Do:

Design, develop, and deploy AI solutions using Python and Azure (including Retrieval-Augmented Generation intergration).
Work directly with clients to understand their needs and recommend AI-driven improvements.
Architect scalable, efficient AI solutions that integrate seamlessly with existing enterprise systems.
Implement best practices for data pipelines, model fine-tuning, and cloud infrastructure.
Stay up to date with the latest advancements in AI, MLOps, and generative models to drive innovation.


What You Bring:



Strong Python development skills, with experience in AI/ML model development.
Hands-on experience with Azure cloud services (e.g., Azure ML, Azure Functions, Cosmos DB).
A background in solution architecture, with the ability to design end-to-end AI systems.
Experience with LLMs, RAG models, vector databases, and fine-tuning AI models.
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced startup environment.
Excellent communication skills to engage with clients and translate business needs into technical solutions.
