You are a trustworthy and capable manager who can lead great software engineers & managers, develop them appropriately, and guide them to work together to deliver amazing products for our customers. You will instill an inclusive team culture, and grow the team while maintaining world-class excellence and diversity. You will realise your vision of modern, machine-learning and AI focused system architectures that enable fast model iteration, and the use of state-of-the-art music analysis and recommendation models. Minimum Qualifications
Experienced in managing software engineering teams running core AI/ML services and/or ML systems at scale
Previous experience with hands-on work and shipping products in an AI and/or ML domain, like recommender systems, NLP, information retrieval, relevance, ranking, or large language models.
Strong track record previously as an individual contributor having engineered and shipped services & features at scale.
BS/MS in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Machine Learning; or significant practical experience in software engineering
Preferred Qualifications
A proven track record of leading, motivating and building strong software teams - enabling engineers to do the best work of their lifetime
Proven experience as a leader having set technical direction and strategy in the form of technical roadmaps and executing on it.
A vision of how to build modern recommendation systems and how to engineer modern ML-driven pipelines, APIs and services at scale
Attention to detail and a strong passion for quality - experience architecting, designing and developing high quality personalisation experiences
Ability to effectively communicate with multi-functional teams about product requirements, system architecture, APIs and project schedules.
