About this role:
The roles involves
• Working with an industry leading Corporate and Investment Bank in the Equity Research department as a part of the Research Agreements and Invoicing team for MiFID II
• Significant opportunities to learn, develop and work as an integral member of the front office teams in business.
In this role, you will:
• Consult with the Business, Sales and Legal on creation / amendment and distribution of research agreements
• Prepare the initial research "on-boarding" form with the client details, coordinate with Legal for completion of the Research Agreement
• Work closely with Research Entitlements Team to enable / remove research entitlements
• Work closely with Research Invoicing team to prepare invoices for distribution to clients and verify payment instructions
• Work with the IT team to resolve issues and improve the existing tools used for contract / payment management in Research
• Periodically review invoice requests and activity through daily invoice aging report, notifying Sales when invoice is outstanding
• Work closely with the Sales and Management for Profitability analysis of clients based on consumption and payments
• Work closely with the Research management to identify areas of growth
• Organize periodic calls with research management for updates / discussions
• Develop reports to enable analysts / management expand outreach to clients
• Extensively use the internal tools (Salesforce) to ensure all client relevant details are updated in a timely manner
Hybrid working model:
• No of days working from office in a week: 3 out of 5 currently.
• Shift followed: Flexible, however 3-5 hours of overlap with onshore teams in UK / US
• Work location: Bangalore

• Outstanding academic qualifications - MBA / Masters from a premier educational institution
• Relevant prior 5+ years of experience.
• Understanding of the Equity Research landscape and MIFID II for Research is a key requirement for the role
Job Expectations:
• Strong understanding of the Equity Research landscape and implication of MiFID II for the department
• Proficiency in usage of tools like Salesforce
• Sufficient proficiency in English and communicate effectively with key stakeholders.
• Ability to proficiently use Microsoft Office Applications - Power Point and Excel - finding/sorting/reformatting data/pivot tables/build macros, without making errors..
• Python, Excel VBA programming would be an added advantage.
