MAIN ACCOUNTABILITIES
The individual will be responsible for assisting the credit analysts of CRE FIG (Credit Management - Financial Institution Group) having the portfolio of FIG - Banks, Brokers, Insurance companies, Asset Managers, Mutual funds, Hedge funds, regulated funds, pension funds; and private equity funds. Day to day responsibilities include:
• Assist the CRE/FIG analysts in the region with the processing of credit applications
• Regularly update the monthly workflow and collect information from analyst / front office/ RMs to ensure timely closure of files and renewal of credit lines
• Liaise with business lines to determine trading needs for the year and notify/report post approvals from credit teams
• Input of credit requests from the deal flow and information in our various systems
• Source information from various internal and external systems/tools as requested by the CRE/FIG analysts
• Prepare reports for portfolio monitoring including limit overshoots, obligor risk ratings Report, Issuer Risk report, annual review deadlines, Watch List, Wrong Way Risk, FBL Flag, Shadow Banking region/sector exposure, covenant compliance, etc., Limits/Rating allocations in Systems and Permanent Supervision Tasks.
• Provide the necessary support to the teams to ensure a smooth operation within CRE
• Assisting in upgrading the internal data quality management for CRE/FIG by assisting in the remediation of internal groupings and setups while liaising with data management and onboarding teams
• Assist in the post-trade monitoring process for various reports including that of overshoot monitoring, stress testing, NAV monitoring etc.
• Follow up on actions to be performed by the credit teams
• Communicate and train on system/procedural changes
• Prepare KPI reports and assist with reporting tasks
• Assist CRE/FIG Management in various ad-hoc projects within the department: portfolio analytics, setup of reporting dashboards, reporting etc.

• Ability to organize time and manage deliverables to deadlines under pressure
• Ability to identify and accommodate shifting priorities with little notice
• Acquire ability to complete work with minimal or no supervision
• Strong communication skills and ability to interact with banking professionals at all levels
• Quick learner with ability to multi-task while paying attention to detail
• Ability to work in a team environment, interfacing with team members, front office bankers and salespersons, risk team, and clients
• Ability to investigate/research/synthesize data and make appropriate conclusions as to what is causing the observed result(s)
• Ability to write concisely and in a way that conveys analysis and conclusions without minimal follow-up questions
TECHNICAL SKILLS
• Proficiency using MS Office for data and reporting requirements
• Advanced Excel skills, such as macros and pivot tables; more generally proficiency to explore large databases and to quickly ramp up on new IT ecosystems.
• Proficiency in VBA is an advantage
• Experience in Credit Administration / Middle Office functions is an advantage
• Knowledge of 3rd party information sources like S&P Capital IQ, Bloomberg, SNL etc.
• Basic understanding of lending terminology, commercial & investment banking products, derivatives knowledge, legal documentation and good knowledge of finance and accounting fundamentals Ability to learn and utilize SG systems
PRIOR WORK EXPERIENCE
• Relevant experience in large international bank or similar financial services organization Analyst – Credit Admin (2+ years of relevant experience) Sr. Analyst – Credit Admin (4+ years of relevant experience)
