Role Summary/Purpose:
The Senior Analyst, Data Quality Developer, is located in the India Analytics Hub (IAH) as part of Synchrony’s Enterprise Data Office and will be responsible for the proactive design, implementation, execution, and monitoring of Data Quality process capabilities established within the Chief Data Office. This individual will work within the Analytics organization to support and participate in build and run activities (e.g. DevOps) for Data Quality with a focus on supporting Ab Initio Metadata Hub environment.
This position is remote, where you have the option to work from home. On occasion we may request for you to commute to our nearest office for in person engagement activities such as team
meetings, training and culture events. To ensure the safety of our colleagues and communities, we require employees who come together in-person to be fully vaccinated. We’re proud to offer you choice and flexibility.
Essential Responsibilities:
Monitor and maintain Data Quality and Data Issue Management operating level agreements in support of data quality rule execution and reporting
Support and mentor teammates in the support, maintenance and development of solutions supporting Data Management capabilities provided by the Chief Data Office
Recommend, design, implement and refine / remediate data quality specifications within Synchrony’s approved Data Quality platforms
Participate in the solution design of data quality and data issue management technical and procedural solutions, including metric reporting
Participate in the planning and execution of agile release cycles and iterations
Qualifications/Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering or related field and a minimum of 2-5 years of Development experience or in lieu of a degree with 4 to 7 years of Development experience.
Minimum 2-5 years of hands on experience in software development and technical operational support
Minimum 2-5 years of experience with Data Management (e.g. implementing ETL), in banking or financial services
Minimum 2-5 years of experience using data quality or data integration tools such as: Informatica, Ab Initio, Collibra, Autosys/StoneBranch, Tableau
Minimum 2-5 years of experience in writing / understanding SQL
Minimum 1 year of experience developing / maintaining Tableau dashboards
Intermediate to advanced skills in MS Excel
Shift Timings : 2 pm to 11 pm IST

Strong relationship management and influencing skills to build enduring and productive alliances across matrix organizations
Very strong written and oral communication skills
Intermediate to advanced MS Office Suite skills including Power Point, Access, Visio
Experience using data governance tools such as: Ab Initio Express>IT; Ab Initio Metahub; Collibra (Ranger Certification Highly Desirable)
Demonstrated success in managing multiple deliverables concurrently often within aggressive timeframes; ability to cope under time pressure
Experience in partnering with a diverse team composed of staff and consultants located in multiple locations and time zones
