JavaScript Developer (Senior Analyst)

We are seeking a skilled JavaScript Developer with a strong focus on Microsoft Azure PaaS services, SQL understanding, and experience in migrating window-based applications to modern web applications. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of modern JavaScript frameworks and libraries, as well as experience in Azure Data Factory and App Services.
Work you’ll do:
This individual will play a critical role in migrating, developing, deploying, and maintaining web applications on our Azure platform while ensuring the highest standards of network security and efficient data management.

Comprehend existing code for understanding in migrating applications to web environment.
As a key member of our development team, you will be actively involved in the complete Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), from initial planning and requirements analysis through design, implementation, testing, deployment, and maintenance, ensuring the delivery of high-quality, robust, and scalable solutions.
Clearly document new requirements and processes.
The key skills required:
Expert level knowledge in JavaScript concepts, React.JS, Express.JS and Node.JS.
Good understanding of Azure PAAS environment (App Service, Storage, Data Factory).
Foundational understanding of microservice architecture.
Foundational understanding in SQL with knowledge of queries, joins, views, built-in SQL functions and stored procedures.
Ability to understand the business needs and translate that to a technical solution.
Must be able to prioritize, take ownership of projects, and drive them forward to completion.
Exceptional critical thinking skills enabling you to analyze complex information and develop innovative solutions.
Strong analytical skills using data to make informed decisions.
Highly organized with meticulous attention to detail ensuring tasks are completed accurately and on time.
Ability to work independently on projects and contribute in team discussions.
Strong communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Additional beneficial skills:
Experience in Azure DevOps.
Microsoft Azure certifications, such as Azure Developer Associate.
Knowledge of other cloud platforms, such as AWS or Google Cloud Platform.
Working knowledge in MS Access, VBA, SQL Server, SSIS, and Tableau.
The team
This is an internal firm professional service position that supports member firms of the Deloitte organization. Risk & Brand Protection (R&BP) analysts play a critical role in enhancing, preserving and protecting the reputation of the Deloitte organization. Specifically, R&BP analysts assist in ensuring compliance with firm policies and professional standards in the areas of auditor independence, regulatory compliance and risk. Functions within R&BP include Independence Operations, Regulatory, Technology, Confidentiality, Privacy, Independence Audits, Conflicts, Independence Representations, Discipline, Ethics and Continuing Education.
The ideal R&BP candidate must be able to work independently and as part of a team in a dynamic work environment. They must also be able to develop best practices, develop and consistently apply a base of knowledge to matters that arise, and identify innovative solutions for complex issues. Individuals within R&BP interact/coordinate frequently with other members across the member firm’s Risk & Regulatory Affairs group to effectively serve Deloitte professionals.

MSc Software Sciences/Information Systems, MCA, BTech
3-5 years relevant experience
Work Location:
Ability to commute to Hyderabad office.
