We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Senior Analyst - Fund Research

Global Manager Selection - Fund & ETFs (GMS) is the designated Centre of Reference in charge of selection, research and approval of all funds and ETFs, which are sold/distributed by various HSBC Group business such as Wealth and Personal Banking, Private Banking, and various Insurance entities, across the globe
GMS is a global team, based in London and Bangalore, responsible for mutual funds across all the asset classes encompassing Equity, Fixed Income, and Multi-Asset.
The Opportunity:
The candidate will be part of a global team charged with fund selection for various HSBC Group businesses including Wealth and Personal Banking, Private Banking, and Insurance
The individual will provide specialist expertise on the multi asset / sector/ equity asset class with a focus on mutual funds
She/he would be responsible for selection and research of equity mutual funds
She /he will be responsible for creation of high quality thought leadership materials that will help drive adoption and growth of the product line globally
The candidate will be expected to have extensive interaction with asset managers
A key requirement for the role will be the ability to analyse various equity strategies, formulate independent opinions, and articulate views in writing and/or through presentations
The role will provide an opportunity to collaborate with other product lines as well
