And we work diligently to encourage all with different ways of thinking, different ways of working, and especially those traditionally underrepresented in technology and financial services, to apply.Job Description Senior Analyst - Quality Assurance Summary: The QA Sr. Analyst will support quality assurance of SVB's Process Inventory and associated Process Data (process maps, metadata, automated workflows, associated procedures, standards, etc.) Essential Function: The QA Analyst will take an unbiased review of processes maintained by the Business Process Management team, including alignment of process to APQC structure, challenge of incongruent tasks and actors in the process, confirming that risks and controls are adequately represented. Review of processes also include congruency between process and the related family of documentation, such as policies, standards, and procedures. Develop and execute deliverables throughout phases of QA work to include Test initiation - Perform kick-off meeting with relevant stakeholders Test planning - Develop testing estimate and test plan Elicit and analyze - Elicit business requirements from internal stakeholders leveraging process mapping expertise to document missing business requirements Test design - Author test scenarios/cases review test cases prepare test data Test execution - Execute test cases and log pass/fail, analyze results and prepare test summary report Test monitoring and controls - Track system defects or user fails monitoring defect/user errors until resolved, at times leveraging process mapping knowledge to apply fixes/updates to process models and metadata Decisions: Go/no-go decisions on publishing processes to the greater SVB user population
