Regional Consolidation Support for Africa
Knowledge Skills and Abilities, Key Responsibilities:
Key Responsibilities
• Review Balance Sheet Review files of various countries and movement between months
• Coordinate closing for countries
• Coordinate with Group Consolidation team in Geneva
• Coordinate with Country FMs/ Regional office to highlight and resolve issues
• Help country FM resolve any technical accounting problems
• Help countries on statutory Audit and issue resolution and drive audit closure for region
• Assist M&A team in various due diligence projects across the region
• Preparation of management reports for the Group CFO/ Regional FM/ Higher Management
• Develop templates for creation/review of account reconciliations
• Detailed Review of critical balance sheet account reconciliation with special focus on Intercompany, Accruals, Other Receivables and Stock related transactions
• Help resolving intercompany disconnects as a part of monthly reporting
• Create reconciliation review structure for the region
• Highlight and help countries to resolve difference between Reporting tool (HFM) and Local accounting system (Navision)
• Analyse the statistical data, off BS information uploaded by the countries, ensure the accuracy and follow the changes if needed
• Help resolving intercompany disconnects
Experience, Skill And Competencies
• Strong Knowledge of IFRS
• Demonstrable numeracy Skills
• Good verbal and written communication skills
• Microsoft Office proficient
• Minimum 4 years of relevant experience
