Job Description
The purpose of the Technology Chief Controls Office is to empower teams to confidently make informed technology risk and compliance decisions at pace. The team is responsible for ensuring that new and changing processes are assessed, awareness is raised and risk mitigations are in place. They achieve this through the effective design & implementation of controls to enable compliance and supporting the business through new and changing processes. This role is within the Centre of Excellence team within Technology CCO, and is jointly responsible for managing performance against the strategic agenda for the business. You will be responsible for tracking activities against the implementation of strategy, planning and operations, financial management and risk management for a business area.
RESPONSIBILITIES/ACCOUNTABILITIES

Track business performance metrics against stated objectives and key results; leverages data driven insights to inform continuous improvement opportunities
Create and track workforce and financial management activity via forecasts, budgets, actuals and reconciliation.
Prepare any business reporting requirements including milestones, financials, benefits and risks
Enhance procedures to ensure the business area achieves financial control and meets productivity targets
Enhance the maturity of the discipline through effective problem solving and knowledge sharing of best practices
Develop standard operating procedures and tools that are streamlined and consistent across all teams
Triage information and requests for the business area to ensure commitments can be delivered and risks/issues are escalated
Identify, lead and manage the continuous improvement of the business performance by using data to generate insights and reports
Work effectively with Technology CCO Leadership and other key stakeholders to update on business commitments and outcomes
Manage complexity and change, solve problems, manage broad stakeholder relationships and operate with an enterprise mindset
Contribute to a proactive risk and control culture and collaborate with the business
Responsible for data quality in various databases and regular management reporting
Support the broader team with any priority deliverable as required; including, but not limited to, PowerPoint presentations; Team governance and planning; team communications; etc.
PEOPLE KNOWLEDGE
Ability to work with cross functional teams present in India and Australia
Sufficient experience or specialized knowledge to allow application/modification of existing methods and systems on own initiative in line with business context
QUALIFICATIONS: EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
Minimum 5 –8 ears’ experience in banking / financial services or other relevant experience in an Operational Risk Management role
Tertiary qualifications in risk management, finance, accounting or related field – desired, but not essential
