Job Description
The Controls Test Performance Team (CTP) is part of Technology Chief Controls Office (TCCO) which is responsible for ensuring the integrity of the control environment and that these controls are effective in managing risk. They achieve this through periodic testing of the design and operating effectiveness of key controls and identification of control gaps.
RESPONSIBILITIES/ACCOUNTABILITIES

Support the broader team in the delivery of an effective Controls Assurance Program (CAP) across the Technology, utilising CBA’s Operational Risk Management Framework (ORMF) to provide the business with an assessment and assurance over the effectiveness of the control environment supporting the Technology. CTP team will provide Line 1 assurance over the Bank’s critical technology infrastructure and services.
Work closely with the Risk Management & Engagement teams and the business to ensure optimisation of controls testing.
Perform testing of complex technology controls. Where weaknesses are found, you will help in root cause analysis, remediation strategies and reporting to key stakeholders.
Drive continuous improvement of CAP through implementation of continuous control monitoring, automation and control rationalisation.
Develop and enhance the reporting of control effectiveness across the Technology to provide Control owners and Service Owners with the management information required to effectively manage services.
Assist in the uplift and roll out the Technology CAP Assurance methodology.
Collaborate and work across the Line 1 Risk Community delivering appropriate risk outcomes.
Support Senior Manager in effective validation of design & operating effectiveness of assigned technology control.
Contribute to a proactive risk and control culture and collaborate with the business
PEOPLE KNOWLEDGE
Ability to work with cross functional teams present in India and Australia.
Influencing and consulting skills, the ability to build relationships with stakeholders
QUALIFICATIONS: Education & Experience
5 - 7 years’ experience in assurance role with a focus on technology and automated controls. Experience in performing SOX and Third Party Assurance engagements (e.g. SOC, ASAE 3150, SSAE16 etc.) preferred.
Experience in performing the identification, planning, testing and reporting of the following controls types:
IT General Controls (ITGC)
Automated Controls
Key Reports Testing and
Business Process controls
Sound knowledge on risk management policy and relevant standards
CISA, CISM, CRISC, CISSP or other IT Risk related certifications would be advantageous but not required.
