Job Brief
We are looking to hire talented Android Developers to design, build and maintain the next generation of SDKs/ applications. Your primary focus will be developing high-end Android SDKs/applications with turn-by-navigation features for the Android platform. You will be required to integrate the key SDKs feature using UNL's own library of Restful APIs. Your duties may include collaborating with the product design and backend team to understand key requirements and dependencies, and create development and implementation plans as per the product roadmap using Agile Methodologies.

Key Responsibilities
Your responsibilities will include:
• Designing and building SDKs/ applications for the Android platform. The first target project would be building a turn-by-turn navigation SDK/ application.
• Ensuring quality and performance to the specification. Android Developer
• Identifying potential problems and resolving bottlenecks.
• Developing a demo application fully built on Navigation SDK/ application as proof of concept. • Publishing application on Google play.
• Code maintenance and version controls.
• Designing and implementing updates as per the roadmap using agile frameworks.
• Ability to manage your workload with minimal technical supervision
• Work with different stakeholders (Designing, Engineering, Product, etc.)
Skills and Expertise
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer science or software engineering
• Proven experience as an app/ SDK developer preferably in the Geospatial domain and experience with libraries like Mapbox/MapLibre/Leaflet
• Proficiency in at least one of the Java/Kotlin
• Ability to use the Android Studio, including the Android SDK, with ease.
• Knowledge of Android build tools and package management (for example Gradle)
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines
• Ability to build well structured, testable and maintainable solutions.
Nice to Have
• You have a strong working knowledge of Android Development frameworks
• You can create functional, scalable, feature-rich navigation SDKs to empower application developers to build navigation applications using our navigation SDKs.
