Job Description
• The Senior Android Developer rapidly prototypes and implements new features for the Fisker Android app.
• Present solutions both independently and as a member of the Engineering team, and deliver the solutions on-time
• Transform business and functional requirements into technical solutions
• Continuously explore new trends and incorporate emerging technology stacks
• Participate in full software development life cycle from concept through delivery
• Troubleshoot and provide scalable solutions for complex engineering problems
• Blend iterative and adaptive development to effectively handle time-constrained projects
• Participate in code and design reviews to give constructive feedback and, seek it as well
• Facilitate knowledge sharing and encourage a culture of intellectual curiosity by being approachable
• Implement solutions serving high volume production applications
Qualifications
• 8+ years building Native Android applications
• Mandatory experience with Kotlin & Coroutines
• Experience with Jetpack-Compose
• Experience with Dependency Injection
• Experience with MVVM Architecture
• Experience in Koin
• Knowledge of java
• Familiarity with Push notifications, authentication, and API’s
• A good understanding of Android build and release pipelines
• Experience with Android animations and test automation
