• *Senior Android Engineer Role**
We are seeking an experienced and skilled Senior Android Engineer to join our Mobile Apps Team. This role will be instrumental in driving feature development for our services, enhancing the experience of over 11 million customers.
About the Job
This is a challenging opportunity to collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Product Owners, Architects, and team members. You will clarify business needs, define technical requirements, and deliver impactful solutions in an agile environment.
Key Responsibilities
• Work closely with your team and Product Owner in an agile setup, contributing to technical and architectural decisions.
• Develop and deliver high-quality applications for one of Europe's leading pet e-commerce platforms.
• Participate in the full software development lifecycle: discovery, coding, testing, deployment, and maintenance.
Requirements
• 6+ years of experience with Android development.
• Independent investigation and implementation of new features.
• A product-oriented mindset and understanding of customer needs.
• Responsible for ensuring the quality of delivered solutions.
• Experience with unit testing and Test-Driven Development.
• Debugging, profiling, publishing, and monitoring apps.
• Interest in growing as a software engineer and participating in the whole development cycle.
• Ability to guide less experienced colleagues.
• Empathetic and able to build relationships easily.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
Nice to Have
• Experience with A/B testing and feature flags.
• Experience with localization.
